Hello and welcome to the new blog
You know, as a Freelancer, while working with multiple clients, I've found a few things as a gap or so-called repetitive work, which certainly cost me time and money
Every freelancer needs to spend more time in meetings, emailing and serving clients' requests, which takes around 80-90% of the day/week time, making it hard for developers to actually build a profitable and consistent income source.
Upwork provides clients, cold emailing confirms the clients, social media builds trust and audience, but we as developers need more than just tools to use. We need something that can fundamentally provide a way to handle multiple clients on the way
And that brings us to the concept of gettemplate.website. This simple concept will certainly save time, improve performance/output delivery, and increase revenue per developer or Indie hacker.
What gettemplate.website do?
It's a React, Next, and Vite source code templates website, a collection of templates, landing pages, hero sections, payments, forms and tables for almost all kinds of web products that exist in the world.
Currently platform provides categories of templates, including
- Landing pages
- Hero sections
- AI
- Animations
- Tables, CRM, Forms
- Content
It's like a framer for React developers, github for the open-source community, a code pen examples for programming engineers.
More importantly, why did I make it?
A few reasons why I make it and why we need it
- To avoid wasting time doing the same thing again and again
- Open-source UI library for React, Vite and Indie hackers around the globe
- Quick website development to save time handling multiple clients across the globe
- Quickly launch your next micro-SaaS idea or next billion-dollar idea
- Alternative to themeforrest, framer, Bootstrap heavy paid templates
While working with multiple clients, I've had to rely on Github and local files to reuse my good previous work, but now I've one platform to quickly go and search for templates for inspiration and copy-paste the source code and build, and it's FREE without any use of AI.
Gettemplate vs Lovable
Certainly, it's not a comparison, but Lovable is an AI code editor that still needs payment options (because it's not FREE), still provides prompts and design style and theme to AI to write actual code (again, time time-consuming process)
Whereas gettemplate.website, acts as a mediator to quickly get to the launch and deployment stage, worrying about conversion, design concepts, responsiveness, and it's FREE to use.
How to use gettemplate.website?
- Go to gettemplate.website
- Logged in to save the templates
- Search for templates and filter the category
- Open the template (Check the latest landing page template)
- Copy the source code in React, Nextjs or Vite
I hope this helps so far, and stay tuned to it. Bookmark the website, I'll add more templates in this and soon make it the largest platform for website/app templates.
That's it for today, see you in the next one
