OriginUI

Beautiful UI components built with Tailwind CSS and Next.js

OriginUI

2024 is about to end but the frontend UI libraries list doesn't cease or end anytime soon.

After chatGPT, developing websites becomes a cakewalk, but these front-end UI libraries and collections of reusable components make it even easier for front-end developers.

We don't need to fight or compare them to the existing ones.

A developer should try all of them at least once before picking his/her favourite.

This is quite a short thread within one step I would love to cover the topic.

OriginUI is the new UI library I've just came across one app.daily.dev and this sounds promising but it's too early as well to predict the future, especially, in this highly competitive market of UI libraries.

Read these 3 cool new UI library threads as well to understand how many developers are competing in the same segment.

OriginUI

Origin UI is like quite a combination of Shadcn, npm modules, React, Next.js and Tailwind CSS. One can understand it as the dependencies for all OriginUI components.

Origin UI is an extensive collection of copy-and-paste components for quickly building app UIs. It's free, open-source, and ready to drop into your projects.

Take a look at the home page, only 4 components are available currently and the team behind the scenes launch the new components every week. This means a bunch of developers or a developer is working hard once a week to mark the presence of OriginUI in the market.

Utilities

Utitlies are quite useful things to develop fast as one don't need to remember the terms and CSS classes and properties.

OriginUI does the same by providing tailwind CSS animations and easing and scaling utility properties.

That's it for today

See you in the next one
